A hike where you mostly wander along narrow roads between small villages. Siljansnäs consists of many villages where red houses are clustered closely together. Almo is one of the oldest, with several old storage buildings that are now declared historical monuments.

From Granbergs Fäbodar, the trail leads toward the top of Granberget ski slope. You descend through the ski slope and then follow a longer stretch on a gravel road around Mackberget before the trail branches off onto paths leading to the village of Almo.
