Between Falun and Röros, from world heritage to world heritage on a motorcycle.
The Kopparleden is a sub-project within the Interreg project Scandinavian Heartland, which is run jointly by the Dalarna County Administrative Board and the Mountain Region in Hedmark County Municipality, with a focus on developing nature and cultural tourism in the region. The aim of the sub-project is to develop and market the road between Falun and Röros, i.e. the Kopparleden, as an attractive route for motorbike tourism. The goal is to increase the number of visiting motorcycle tourists in the area between Falun and Röros. Today, the Visitkopparleden is run by Älvdalen municipality.
