The most accessible tour on Idre Fjäll, suitable for prams, wheelchairs and hiking boots. You are greeted by the a relaxing environment by a sparkling pond at the foot of the iconic Städjan.

Difficulty: Easy. Mostly flat with even ground.
Environment: From the ski stadium, you follow the asphalt loop until a wide gap leads you down to idyllic Gränjestjärn below Städjan's foot. The first and last 1.5 km of the hike are on the paved roller ski loop. You need to step aside off the tarmac well in advance of roller skiers passing by. Around the pond, the span is narrower.
Facilities and packing requirements: Directly adjacent to the start at the ski stadium, there is a toilet and heating cabin with access to water as well as spacious free parking with access to electric car chargers. At Gränjestjärn there are nice wind shelters with fireplaces. Tip: Bring a lunch bag for the wind shelter. After the hike, you can take part in Idre Fjäll's range with everything from an outdoor activity area with a pool and showers, restaurants and cozy overnight accommodation.
Public transport: Visit Dalatrafiken for bus connections to Idre Fjäll. From the stop at Idre Fjälls Torg, it is less than a 400 meter walk to the start of the hike at the Ski Stadium.
