In the footsteps of a miner - A family walk in Falun World Heritage Forest

With stories for young and old, this walk follows the roads and paths that miners and maids walked to work at the mine a hundred years ago. Meet the animals they cared for and discover the forest in the World Heritage Site.

Walk through a historic cultural landscape and learn more about the water's path to the mine and about the nature around it. Where do all the weird rocks come from? Where does the path lead? How does the right of public access actually work? Why is the goat called Kåre? What is a trinity source and is it possible to eat ants? Tip: Take a dip in Lake Vällan before or after the tour!
