Säters Stadshotell
Säter, Västra Långgatan 10Säter's Stadshotell is Säter's oldest preserved building, and a real city hotel. History: The first owner of the plot the house stands on was the former Mayor "Salig Wellan Silentz". He was the son of the German coppersmith Govert Silentz who came to Säter in the 1620s to set up the first copper refineries, and later the mint. The building was built as a residence for the foremen in the copper cabins.
