Locally produced lunch in nature

In Kloster, by the river Klosterån in southern Dalarna, there is a scenic place prepared with a table, benches and cooking places for pleasant do-it-yourself cooking outdoors during May-September.



The table at Kloster seats 12 persons and during Mondays - Saturdays this summer it’s possible to book the table and buy a basket with local produce from Dalarna. Make your own lunch at the table with ingredients that are carefully selected to provide you with a delicious meal.

How to book:
1. Choose numbers of seats.
2. Choose between one of the options below (per person)
- Buy your own lunch basket and cook the food yourself.
- Book the chef and entrepreneur Görgen Tidén.
Vegetarian option can be added (per person) before the checking out.

Choose between booking a basket filled with local produce for a do-it-yourself-lunch, or option to have the chef and entrepreneur Görgen Tidén cook a tasting menu for a minimum of 8 people.

Book a lunch basket for a do-it-yourself lunch in nature
This year’s menu consists of beef sourced from Kloster Manor that is baked to perfection and ready to be put on the barbeque. The meat is served with potatoes from Roslunds farm, mustard from award-winning mustard producers LissEllas, and the homemade BBQ-sauce “RÖK”. Seasonal herbs, leaves, and salad can be handpicked in the surrounding area. Enjoy crispbread from the bakery Skedvi Bröd, butter and spring water from the farm the can also be found in the basket as well as coffee, tea and homemade pastries. Roasted celeriac on grilled cabbage from Wåhlstedts farm in Dala-Floda is offered as a vegetarian alternative.

Your seat at the table and a cooking-kit, price per person: 200 SEK
Lunch basket, price per person: 149 SEK.

The lunch package includes: A basket with produce, recipe, reserved seats at the table and everything that is needed to prepare the food on site.

Enjoy a five-course meal in an environment that is not possible to find in a restaurant. The menu is created with the best local and seasonal produce Dalarna has to offer. This is the opportunity to really get a taste of Dalarna and what the region and Kloster manor has to offer. The menu is seasonal and decided on after your reservation. A beverage package is included. For a minimum of 8 persons, maximum 12 persons. Price per person: 1995 SEK.
