Historical hike and Kavelgris
Your local guides Älvdalsguiderna will take you on a historical hike near an old summer pasture farm.
Hike and bring life to the famous and well-liked historical hiking path at the summer pasture farm Skinnarbodarna. The path winds through various types of nature such as leafy moss-covered spruce forest, marshes, and pine forest. Here you will find remains of human activities and the tracks tell us about people's lives and living conditions since far back in time.
On about 50 rocks there are carvings from the 18th and 19th centuries, which the group tries to interpret. The day is characterized by discoveries and stories. Traditional Swedish Fika will be served, with the local bread kavelgris and home made butter.
