The Villages around Leksand

A winding journey along the roads through the red-coloured village clusters of Tibble, Ullvi, Hälla, Romma, Berg and Rönnäs show many examples at variation in the methods of timber building construction. The villages of Alvik, Almo and Siljansnäs have preserved much of their ancient character. In Almo there is a unique collection of small timber store-houses arranged around a couple of small village greens.
