Vansbro Winter Swim

The fourth edition of the successful Vansbro Winter Swim. Take the chance to experience something you won't soon forget. Throughout the day, you'll be offered everything from a dip in an ice hole to formal swimming competitions and relays.

The coolest winter swim takes place in an ice pool in Västerdalälven in Vansbro. The pool is 25 meters long and 6-8 meters wide. You can choose to swim an individual race or a relay, or take a dip in the ice hole. The organizers are hoping for the same luck with the weather as the past three years, meaning bright sunshine. Participants start in heats and timing is recorded. However, the swims themselves are not competitions, but there is a contest for the best headgear. Read more and register at vansbrosimningen.se.
