Valborg - Fire show

Unique fire show from Sweden's best fire artists in a fantastic setting, a performance that differs from everything else. That's Aurora's motto and that's the feeling we want to convey in our Valborg celebration.The Valborg celebration in the mine is a multi-year tradition that has grown from being a well-kept secret to an event that is talked about in several countries. Feel the energy and power of the fire's glow, as if it gives birth to new life and awakens the light of spring within you.

In the evening, bonfires are lit on the ground and when darkness falls, fireworks fill the sky. They spread a feeling of hope and anticipation for the brighter time that awaits us. Also take the opportunity to satisfy your appetite with sausages or enjoy a coffee from Hembygdsföreningen, which offers food and souvenirs. 

Down the stairs

This easier way to 80 meters depth and the scene. The path to the scene is via an illuminated site system that gives you the opportunity to admire the mine's unique formations and fascinating details along the way.

16:30 - Entrance for the first performance

19:30 - Entrance for the second performance

21:00 - The bonfire is lit on the ground surface with free entry

22:00 - Fireworks, song and tradition

The show lasts about 2 hours including a walk in the mine.

Please arrive well in advance, about 30 minutes before.

Clothing advice:

We guarantee a stable temperature and a rain-free event down in the mine. As it is a constant 4 degrees down in the mine, we recommend warm clothes, a hat and a pair of comfortable gloves. Remember that it is better to be a little too hot than too cold.
