Skiing in Fulufjället National Park

With extra wide skis, we glide slowly out onto the mountain for a wonderful winter adventure. The barren mountain plateau or the forest right at the edge of the mountain is your choice.

Ski Touring to Lorthån in Fulufjället National Park Experience the speed and joy of skiing on extra wide skis through untouched snow. Head towards Lorthån, where no trail exists. At the charming cabin, you can enjoy a lunch consisting of vegan stew or game meat with fresh vegetables and lingonberries and a refreshing lingonberry beverage. The skis are equipped with adjustable bindings suitable for everyone, regardless of skiing experience. Includes skis and poles, guide, lunch, and beverage. Don't forget to bring an extra layer of clothing for the lunch break. Recommended to bring a small backpack to carry your belongings and remember sunglasses and suncream. Duration: Full day Difficulty: 3/5 Participants: maximum 4 people No prior experience required. Not suitable for children, pregnant women, or individuals with heart problems. Introduction to Nordic Forest Skiing and Tracking The tour begins with a brief introduction at Brottbäcksstugan about tracks and wildlife in the national park before heading out into the forest area just at the treeline. During the tour below the plateau, we will look for signs of wildlife together with the guide. Experience a fun winter day in the snow in Fulufjället National Park, ending with hot soup and lingonberry beverage. The extra wide skis will help you take your first steps into the world of cross-country skiing. You can use your regular winter boots, sizes 36 – 46. Includes skis and poles, coffee break.
