Jätturn nature reserve

Nature reserve. Hiking trail. Limestone cave. Can be visited and reached using the boat.

During the 18th century, there were three limestone caves here, but only one can be visited and reached using the boat.

After 3 km walk from the parking spot you reach lake Jätturn and a limestone cave. The cave can only be reached by boat, which is available.

At the lake you have a pic nic area with tables and benches. Fire place and a charcoal hut.

Visiting address: Jätturns Naturreservat,

From the north: drive from Romme, pass Skenshyttan and Ulvshyttan. Then turn by the sign to Jätturn's nature reserve. From the south: go from Smedjebacken via Jobsbo, pass Getbo and Finngården. Then turn at the sign pointing to Jätturn's nature reserve. Along the way there is an unlocked road barrier that can be opened manually.
