Snowshoe Hike to Old Tjikko - Day or Evening Experience the wonderful feeling of walking on soft, deep snow on beautiful winter mountains with the help of snowshoes. Check out the animal tracks in the snow, listen to the silence, and move across the vast landscapes with a guide. The hike leads to the world's oldest tree, Old Tjikko. The evening tour includes a headlamp and all tours have different conditions; cloudy and dark, full moon, or northern lights. Snowshoe rental and warm lingonberry beverage are included. If you do not stay at Rösjöstugorna, transportation can be arranged from Brottbäcksstugan by snowmobile to the day-tour for SEK1,250 (round trip transport for 1-4 people). An easy adventure with experienced guides. The hike goes up to the barren mountain and looks for traces of wild animals in nature. Hot beverage, a light snack, and snowshoe rental are included. Duration: 1-2 hours Period: February - April Difficulty level: 2/5 Age limit: 7 years Participants: max 8 people The tour starts at Brottbäcksstugan Mountain sunrise and Wildlife spotting Put on your snowshoes just before sunrise to see life waking up in the wintry surroundings. The tour goes up to the mountain plateau to discover wild animals and tracks. Warm lingonberry beverage and snowshoe rental are included. Duration: 1.5-2 hours Period: February - April Difficulty level: 2/5 Age limit: 12 years Participants: 2-12 people
