In Kloster, by the river Klosterån in southern Dalarna, there is a scenic place prepared with a table, benches and cooking places for pleasant do-it-yourself cooking outdoors during May-September.

The table at Kloster seats 12 persons and during Thursdays - Fridays this summer it’s possible to book the table and buy a basket with local produce from Dalarna. Make your own lunch at the table with ingredients that are carefully selected to provide you with a delicious meal.

Choose between booking a basket filled with local produce for a do-it-yourself-lunch, or option to have the chef and entrepreneur Görgen Tidén cook a tasting menu for a minimum of 8 people.

This year’s menu consists of beef of the breeds Simmental / Black Angus from Klosters Herrgård which has been prepared to perfection, you do the you do the finishing touch with spices and salt.
Served with home-cooked potatoes from the countryside with a mustard vinaigrette, and home-made barbecue sauce, "RÖK".
You pick herbs and edible salad for the food after the season at Taylor Domsic's on the farm.
Hand-baked crispbread from nearby Skedvi bread, butter and water from the farm's well, samples of maple water dropped from the farm's maple trees and beer from the local brewery Stjernsunds Brygghus are also in the basket as well as coffee / tea and homemade coffee bread.
As an alternative to beef, there is Falafel with parsley and garlic.
The package includes: ingredients including drinks, recipe, seat at the table and everything needed to prepare the food.
Minimum 6 people, maximum 12 people.

Enjoy a tasting menu in an environment that is not possible to find in a restaurant. The menu is created with the best local and seasonal produce Dalarna has to offer. This is the opportunity to really get a taste of Dalarna and what the region and Kloster manor has to offer. The menu is seasonal and decided on after your reservation. A beverage package is included.
For a minimum of 8 persons, maximum 12 persons. Price per person: 1995 SEK.

Later in the booking procedure, you choose if you want a vegetarian alternative.
