The Swedish dance band week is a music festival that is held in Malung's Folkets Park "Orrskogen" in Sweden week 29 every year.
Description
Here you gather to dance social foxtrot and bug to popular dance bands, mostly from Sweden but also from other Nordic countries. About 70 dance bands play up to dance during the week.
The Swedish Dance Band Week was first performed 1986. Nowadays, it sets its mark on the entire Malungsbygden as approximately 40,000 visitors travel to the area every year.
