Midsummer at Rättvik Historical Farm. Traditional Midsummer celebration.
Description
The parade starts from the Enån bridge in the town at 5:30 pm with horses, flags, garlands, folk musicians and decorated wagons. Once they reach the Historical Farm at approx. 6.15 pm, the celebration starts with the raising of the maypole, folk music, speeches, and finally the most important of all, dancing and games around the pole. Refreshments are of course available, including coffee, sandwiches, ice cream and hot dogs.
