Kajaktour in Malingarna

In collaboration with Kajaktiv, Next step nature offer a guided tour with a basic course in kayaking in the Malingarna lake south of Björbo. The lake is part of a nature reserve that is beautifully framed by pine forest. Here you have the opportunity to meet beavers, great loons, kestrels and, with a bit of luck, catch a glimpse of an otter.

The trip starts at 1 p.m. at Kajaktiv, where you will be helped to try out a kayak that suits you after a briefing before the day. When you are ready and the kayaks are loaded, we go approx. 25 km to Malingarna for an introduction to kayaking. When everyone is ready, you slide out onto the lake at a leisurely pace and cruise across the lake, enjoying and exploring the lake. In Malingarna you shouldn't be in a hurry and you take a break in a nice place for a good dinner and maybe a cooling bath. The tour is expected to end approx: 20.00 at Malingarna beach. Then you should feel that you have gained basic knowledge in kayaking and hopefully you have had a wonderful nature experience together with Next Step Nature and the rest of the participants. The trip to Malingarna is aimed at those who want to try kayaking or just want to paddle at a leisurely pace, learn the basics of kayaking and experience nature.
