Orsa Finnmark

Some of the attractions in this area of north-east Dalarna are: Noppikoski with the Vässinkoski dam over the River Ore. The Finnish villages of Näckådalen and Untorp where there are still permanent residents. The former has a restored saw- and water mill. Börningsberget's forest museum. Hamra National Park with undisturbed ancient forest (see above). Pilkalampinoppi's fire-observation tower. Fågelsjö old farm.
