Nature reserve located on Grävsbodberget's steep eastern slope. Above the precipice, the forest consists mostly of younger pine forest with elements of older pine stands.
In the race slope there are a lot of different deciduous trees, such as aspen, willow, rowan and stickleback. Below the slope, the ground is very wet, which favors the deciduous trees. There are traces of forestry in the area. The number of hanging lichen species in the area is strikingly large and you can find, for example, yarn lichen, beard lichen and violet-grey horsetail lichen. Ravens normally nest in the escarpment.
Within the reserve there are traces of a coal bed and a cowshed.
