Length: 3.3 km. Starting place: From rv 70, approx. 6 km south of Djurås. At the Helgbo/stugby sign, turn left if you are coming from the north. Go about 100 m, turn left and go over the railway. On the other side of the railway, there is a notice board on the right and a place to park on the left. The bus stop is along E16 (Sifferbo E16) where bus 121, 250 and 253 stop. It is an incredible feeling to walk through the meter-high stands. The slogboden in Änjansdalen stands on a hill formed by the melting of the ice sheet and which was then covered by fine-grained sediments that slowly sank to the bottom of an ancient sea and which were finally eroded away by the stream. The climate in Änjansdalen is a so-called local climate. The area is protected with constantly high humidity, windless and with vegetation that provides shade in the form of large tree canopies, among other things. The area is rich in plants. A certain flora thrives in the shady park environment, such as ostrich fern, desmeknopp, goldenrod. The shady environment also contributes to a rich bird life. Here you can find, among other things, warblers, warblers, green warblers, pea warblers, blackcaps and stone warblers, which have been breeding for many years.
