Starting in the summer of 2024, the chance to see LF Dalarna's unique art collection is offered at Dalarna's museum. An art collection that usually hangs at the company's headquarters in Falun.

When more and more art began to be sold abroad in the 1970s, LF Dalarna took the initiative to start collecting. The CEO at the time, Karl-Erik Liljegren, explained: "The intention of buying Dalarna art was not, primarily, to make money, but instead to 'collect home' of the province's art." "We are pleased that together with LF Dalarnas, we will be able to show a number of fantastic works by some of Dalarna's and Sweden's foremost artists to the general public," says Christer Björklund, County Museum Director at Dalarna Museum. Most of the thirty or so works in the collection are painted by Anders Zorn and Carl Larsson, with depictions from Sundborn as well as Mora and Alhambra. But there are also works by Olof Arborelius, Winter Carl Hansson and others. The collection has never before been exhibited in its entirety in a museum. "It feels fantastic to have the opportunity to show our fine art collection in its entirety to the people of Dalarna and actually the whole world, as we have understood that there is also a national and international interest," says Anders Grånäs, CEO of LF Dalarnas.
