Falun on foot

If you are planning on visiting Dalarna this summer, why not take a walking tour of Falun? Don’t speak Swedish? No problem! All of our tours are in English!

Come and wander through Falun’s parks, squares and old mine-worker districts. See the sights and learn more about the town’s history and culture! There is a “top 10” tour and one that explores some of the crazier stories that Falun has to tell available. All tours start in Stora Torget, Falun’s central square, and are led by friendly authorized guides. The tours run daily throughout the summer but you need to book them in advance. Open for booking between June–August Length: tours last approximately 60-90 minutes and are 2–2.5 km long Starting point: in front of the Engelbrekt statue in Stora Torget, Falun’s central square (opposite Kristine Church) Suitable clothes and shoes highly recommended!
