The cabins are located in the northwest of Dalarna, high up on the mountain plateau with a fairytale-like nature near Rörsjön's and Harrsjön's shores. They can only reached by hiking, snowmobiling or skiing. No light pollution, no noise pollution, just clean air, pure water, and fantastic fishing. The Nature around the cabins
Fulufjället National Park is known for it's mighty primeval forest and babbling brooks that evokes thoughts of a fairytale world.
At Naturum (the information center) visitors can acquaint themselves with the animals and nature of the park. About 1 hour's hike from the cabins one of Sweden's most powerful waterfalls, Njupeskär, is located.
Nearby the world's oldest tree, Old Tjikko, can be found. The tree has survived countless years with its sustainable root system.
Fishing
Fishing in Rösjön, Sweden's southernmost lake with wild mountain char, is widely known. On the mountain, both Arctic Char and Brown Trout can be found, and ice fishing for char is one of the highlights of the year. Note: fishing permits are required.
